Sally J BoyleSally Boyle’s career began in finance. She has worked with individuals and business owners providing financial planning and business succession advice for over 30 years. She earned the esteemed Certified Financial Planner designation issued by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) in 2010.But in the three years preceding 2000, Sally and her family lived through a very difficult litigated divorce. Since that time she has advised many individuals and families through their own divorces. Through these shared experiences she well understands the devastation of divorce for families both personally and financially. All of this led her to write a book intended to empower families with knowledge that would allow them to see choices. In her research, she also discovered a community committed to changing the divorce climate. She decided to specialize in this work and became a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst and is a member of the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts. Her work has led her to obtain training in Collaborative Law so that she might be able to serve as a member of a team committed to helping couples avoid litigated divorce.Sally is the mother of four sons and a grandmother to beautiful twin granddaughters. Sally loves nothing more than spending the day hiking or skiing in the White Mountains, sailing in one of New England’s beautiful lakes, or enjoying a family day in her lovely town of Hanover, New Hampshire. Sally has come to believe that divorce is a part of life. She hopes to spend a great part of her remaining career helping families keep that perspective. She also hopes to be part of a movement that changes the cultural norms that influence our approach to divorce as a society.
